Sigatoka Sand Dunes
The Sigatoka Sand Dunes are most famous for their rich archaeological history. The first significant clues to man's arrival in Fiji were discovered at the Park in the late 1980's when a team of archaeologists uncovered an ancient burial site with over 50 individuals being excavated being dated to approximately 2600 years ago. You can learn about the history in the small museum, go hiking along the Dunes or even slide down them. Fun for all the family!
