Located in our spacious pool hall and game room are two pool tables and a dart board. It’s a great place to line up your money on the table and take on challengers from all over the world….NEXT VICTIM!!! Ideal at night or when we get one of those welcome afternoon showers,our pool room will be sure to make the introductions to others come easy. So plan to play a game or two and have fun to the max!
Another option that everyone seems to take advantage of is our home theatre where all the latest movies are shown daily and every night. We know movies are not high on the priority list when you are exploring a foreign country, but our Movie Room is still one of our most popular offerings. Hey, Hollywood doesn’t beat the real-life Fiji, but it can definitely distract you for a couple of hours. BONUS… Remember that Castaway (with Tom Hanks), The Blue Lagoon and Anaconda 2 were all filmed here in Fiji.
UGG’s in Fiji????? Yup, you heard that right. Fiji sells the furry cold weather boots and they sell heaps of them! Fiji has its own high quality UGG factory and all the cold weather tourists who come to Fiji can’t believe the quality and the prices. It’s pretty funny actually, tourists arrive thinking they will bring back sandals and they leave with furry moccasins or the classic UGG lambskin boots.
Located in Namaka Industrial area, The UGG Fiji factory is very close to the Nadi Bay Resort Hotel. Actually it’s about 2k down the road. UGG Fiji is a great place to visit and to see how actually UGG boots are made. Purchases can also be made at the factory. Be sure to leave room in the suitcase and on the credit card, these are some serious deals!
UGG Fiji is a sheepskin leather factory which manufactures high quality UGG boots for all ages; both male and female. Every boot sold is made of merino sheepskin, the finest wool found anywhere in the world today.

UGG Fiji Factory Tours are free and the transportation to and from the factory is also free and can be arranged at our reception desk here at the Nadi Bay Resort Hotel.
I met up with Emilie, Kristin, Ida and Marianne who were sunning themselves near the swimming pool. They had come all the way from Norway to experience Fiji’s tropical lushness and propensity for great adventure. Touring around the world, they were in Fiji for 8 days and were staying at Nadi Bay Resort Hotel for three days after doing some choice island hopping.
When asked why they chose to stay at Nadi Bay Resort Hotel, they replied that “it really is a great place and it’s very clean and comfortable to stay at”. They loved the movies that had screened while they stayed there. The staff was always helpful and they loved the friendly service and emphasised “it always came along with a smile”. They had found out about Fiji’s from their travel agents in Norway and once they heard about all the great things to do, they had to mark it as one of the world highlights to be sure to see.
Some of the memorable highlights they’ll bring back to home were the snorkelling, the visit to a traditional Fiji village and the visit to a local school. It’s funny how Fiji’s every day, average people always seem to impress visitors as much as all our natural beauty.
After Fiji, the Norway contingent of the four (4) pretty girls will be heading towards Los Angeles to continue with their world tour… Fiji’s loss will be LA’s gain. :-
These lovely Norwegian ladies are proof positive: coming down to the Fiji islands and experiencing its tropical climate and amazing smiles is a ‘must do’ in order for you to have seen it all and to have lived life to the fullest.
I recently met up with Alessio and Annakaisa who came on a 25hour journey from their country Finland and arrived as guests at the Nadi Bay Resort Hotel. Their long journey made them tired and all they could think of was having a nice and quiet place to stay over during their 14 day holiday trip. They planned an ‘Island Hopping’ holiday trip and have already visited other places as well.
While looking around at all the places to stay at while in Nadi, the determined that the Nadi Bay Resort Hotel seemed to be much best suited for them. And it proved to be everything they had hoped for and more. It wasn’t expensive, it had a great environment, and the staff and management were very friendly and most importantly, the food was really great. Annakaisa really loved the greenery all around the Resort… a peaceful place it was indeed. Their future plans do include another holiday trip to traverse more of the Islands of Fiji and both emphasised that their accommodation will certainly include another blissful stay at the Nadi Bay Resort Hotel.
For those travellers looking to bump n’ grind, Ice Bar and the Ed’s Bar are invariably recommended. They’re just minutes away by foot from the Nadi Bay Resort Hotel and they will cater to all you club going needs.
Another place that travellers frequent include would be the Purple Haze or Haze 2 (a Bollywood themed nightclub that is popular with Nadi’s Indian population and tourists looking to catch a different beat and scene).
Unlike any places around the world, night life starts relatively early in Nadi – or any other place in Fiji for that matter. By 10pm things are generally going pretty full- on. Before that, plan to enjoy a game of pool with your friends or even cocktails outside watching the people pass by.
The Nadi night scene is fun, it’s casual and the locals love to chat, so just come on in and raise your glass to the enjoyment that you will have.
