Hannah came from Australia to Fiji for the first time and she was so excited that she couldn’t stop smiling. She works in a hospital as staff nurse and was long over due a break from work. She saw Fiji as a place to be when you are tired and need a nice relaxing break either alone or with your family or friends. Hannah came to Fiji for a week and thought that this was the best few days that she ever had.
She came over with a friend who is originally from here and so she got to know a little about all the places. Her stay over at Nadi Bay Resort Hotel was a choice that her travel agent had made for her and her friend and they really thought that it was a convenient and nice place to be at. It was close to all the basic amenities, she didn’t have to worry about the time to reach the airport as it is just few kilometers away. The whole environment of the hotel is so quite and peaceful. “I am so glad that our travel agent chose this place for us since after we were so bummed out from all the partying that we did and all the enjoyment that we had on the islands that we visited! This place made me and my friend to relax before we went back to Australia”.
She had visited The Beachcomber Island Resort and the Manta Ray Island Resort in the Yasawas. The girls really enjoyed these two places. Hannah thought that Manta Ray Island resort was the best place to be at this time of the year since she got the opportunity to swim with the Manta Rays. At the Island they had done a lot of activities which include Snorkeling, Kayaking, playing Beach Volley ball, Making Fijian Handicraft, she witnessed the coconut tree climbing, she did a little Sun Bath and lastly she visited a village.
“This was a really magnificent place to meet and greet new people from all over the world. I think making people have a great time and enjoy themselves is the main point of the people of Fiji islands. Their smiles will take you miles and make your stay in Fiji worth your while”, quoted Hannah with a big grin on het face.
“I love the jewelry making session where I was able to make a bangle for myself with coconut shell. I think that was really amazing on how people can use their resources around and make things that are really beautiful and cheap as well. I also really loved swimming with the Mantas as they looked so magnificent from a close by look.”
Hannah also got a massage at Nadi Bay Resort and she just loved the whole idea of her relaxing and being pampered before she went back to Australia. She thought it was very cheap and convenient for her. The food at the Hotel she thought was very delicious and very scrumptious.
“I am planning to go to Thailand for our next holiday. But Fiji will for surely be in mind if Thailand is not possible!”
When I saw her I thought she was an Australian born Indian but when we got talking she told me that she was originally from Fiji. Komal came to Fiji for a holiday of work. This young lady studies in a nursing school and have been working in a prominent Hospital in Melbourne. She was very thrilled with what Fiji had to offer her and had been planning for ages to come to Fiji and enjoy her time here.
Komal who is originally from Fiji went to Australia when she was just three (3) years old, she has been in and out of Fiji for a couple of times and this time she just wanted to show her friends what Fiji actually was about. She was always coming down to Fiji but that was with her family only and had always stayed around in Viti Levu, but this time she planned to go out and about and experience the real Fijian culture and atmosphere.
“I think that Fiji has a lot of opportunities and options in every Island and was something great to see. Fiji is a part of me and I am very proud to be known as a Fiji born Indian”, she quoted. She had come to Fiji with one of her workmates and they both really enjoyed themselves a lot.
She was in Fiji for a week, had gone to the Beachcomber Island Resort and the Manta Ray Island Resort and they had so much fun with the locals and the guests. She found out about Nadi Bay Resort Hotel through a travel agent who had set her whole trip to the Fiji Islands.
The activities that she and her friend did were mostly Kava Drinking, involved in the Fijian Dancing which she thought was really nice, did heaps of social interaction with so many people, raced around Beachcomber Island which only took 4 minutes and thought that it was really nice. After her stay at the island, she came to Nadi Bay Resort where she stayed there for one night before flying back to Melbourne. She really loved the atmosphere and felt really relaxed and felt like she was back at home. “I love the friendly people and the best thing about this place is the delicious food. I will for surely come back to Fiji every opportunity I get”, quoted Komal.
“Thank You Nadi Bay Resort Hotel and a Big Vinaka Vakalevu Fiji for wonderful Time here!”
