I met up with Emilie, Kristin, Ida and Marianne who were sunning themselves near the swimming pool. They had come all the way from Norway to experience Fiji’s tropical lushness and propensity for great adventure. Touring around the world, they were in Fiji for 8 days and were staying at Nadi Bay Resort Hotel for three days after doing some choice island hopping.
When asked why they chose to stay at Nadi Bay Resort Hotel, they replied that “it really is a great place and it’s very clean and comfortable to stay at”. They loved the movies that had screened while they stayed there. The staff was always helpful and they loved the friendly service and emphasised “it always came along with a smile”. They had found out about Fiji’s from their travel agents in Norway and once they heard about all the great things to do, they had to mark it as one of the world highlights to be sure to see.
Some of the memorable highlights they’ll bring back to home were the snorkelling, the visit to a traditional Fiji village and the visit to a local school. It’s funny how Fiji’s every day, average people always seem to impress visitors as much as all our natural beauty.
After Fiji, the Norway contingent of the four (4) pretty girls will be heading towards Los Angeles to continue with their world tour… Fiji’s loss will be LA’s gain. :-
These lovely Norwegian ladies are proof positive: coming down to the Fiji islands and experiencing its tropical climate and amazing smiles is a ‘must do’ in order for you to have seen it all and to have lived life to the fullest.
