"Under The Mango Tree"

As our Resort expanded and Restaurant capacity increased our publisher friends, the Three Loose Coconuts, suggested a Nadi Bay Resort Cook Book. The result is a 96 page book, beautiful photographed with tempting recipes and includes our staff and many of our overseas visitors.

It is a celebration of our love for Fiji, the affection we feel for our staff and the everyday pleasure experienced in meeting many of our guests.

We hope it could stimulate interest to come and experience the culture, the wonderful people and the many attractive hotels and resorts.

The book is on sale at our Hotel for $12 F and selected retail stores.

Orders for the book can be satisfied by e-mailing us at nadibay@connect.com.fj

Award For "Under The Mango Tree"

Our Publishers entered the cook book in the GOURMAND "Best in World" competition held in April in Beijing China.

It was selected as a finalist and short-listed for the "Best in World Foreign Cookbook". Over 67 countries were represented in this years awards with ours being the only Cookbook to represent Fiji or her neighbours. The Gourmand Judges descried our book as follows:

"THIS BOOK TAKES YOU TO FIJI IN A SECOND, THANKS TO ITS MOST UNUSUAL FRESH AND LIVELY DIRECT CONTACT WITH THE READER. IT BURST WITH ENERGY, FUN, PASSION AND SENSE OF HUMOUR. A LITTLE BIG BOOK"

"Under The Mango Tree" has also been selected by Gourmand to be part of its year long exhibition in Beijing from September 2007 to August 2008, the Olympic year.
